Amy Winehouse's stepdad Richard dies age 71 Editor Katie Watkin's -1/5/22 Amy Winehouse's stepdad has sadly passed at the age of 71. Richard Collins - who supported the Amy  through much of her career and helped her mum Janis set up the Amy Winehouse Foundation back in 2011.  The Amy Winehouse Foundation wrote on Twitter: "We are very sad to bring you news that our trustee Richard Collins, has passed away this week. Devoted and caring husband to Janis, and Dad to Michael and Jess, we will always remember his great humour and sense of fun. Sending love to all the family." The news comes just days after Janis - who divorced Amy's father Mitch Winehouse in 1993 after 17 years of marriage and struck up a relationship with her childhood friend Richard in 2008 before marrying him in 2011 just months after Amy's death - took to Twitter to announce that her husband was in hospital and she had nearly "lost him twice."  Fontaines D.C. celebrate their first-ever UK Number 1 album with Skinty Fia: Editor Katie Watkins 29/4/22 Fontaines D.C. soar straight to the summit on this week’s Official Albums Chart, claiming their first-ever UK number 1 album with Skinty Fia.    The Dublin-born band, comprising Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan III, Grian Chatten and Tom Coll, outsold the competition by 2-1 helping them obtain the top spot. Physical sales account for 87% of Skinty Fia’s total sales and seeing the group top this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart too.   Prior to this, Fontaines D.C. had previously scored two Top 10 albums, with 2019’s Dogrel (9) and 2020 LP A Hero’s Death (2).   Celebrating their Official Number 1 album, Fontaines D.C. said  “We're touched by everyone's response to Skinty Fia, thank you to everyone who bought, streamed and downloaded  the album.”

Justin Bieber gets caught in a snowy shootout in new Honest music video Editor Katie Watkin's 29/4/22 Candian Pop superstar Justin Bieber takes to the slopes and gets caught in a snowy shootout in the video for his latest single Honest.   The Canadian singer, now 28 and rapper Don Toliver, 27, can be seen snowmobiling off-piste in the mountains with their partners when individuals dressed in all black attack the group.   Justin Bieber fell to the ground as he is shot in the leg, but appears to not be fatally injured as he lies on the ground and smokes. Elsewhere in the video for his new hip hop single, Bieber relaxes in a ski lodge dressed in white loungewear and spilling his coffee as he dances around the room.   He dons an all-white suit and a bright orange balaclava as he sing  as he sings the chorus.  The end of the video sees the group sitting by a blazing campfire after the dramatic altercation in the mountains.    Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure.    Blondie's Chris Stein pulls out of upcoming tour due to health condition Editor Steve Hart 21/4/22 70s rock band Blondie is set to go on tour across the UK in April and May this year, however, the band's longtime guitarist and co-founder Chris Stein has sadly announced that he won't be able to join them on tour due to a heart condition.   Chris took to social media to share the disappointing news and explained that he was suffering from a condition called Atrial Fibrillation which left him too fatigued to tour.   He also wrote: 'Yes, (murmur of the heart) this is indeed frustrating cause my brain is working great but my body's not up to the task of touring now.   The musician later posted on Instagram to say: 'I'm sorry I'm not gonna make the next round of Blondie shows.
