  K-pop goup Billlie's 'GingaMingaYo (the strange world)' MV hits 10 million views in 3 days. Editor Katie Watkins 26-2-2022 Korean girl band Billlie  have hit a new milestone on YouTube with their latest release!  GingaMingaYo. On February 26 at 11:38 AM KST, Billlie's music video for " GingaMingaYo (the strange world) ", the title track from their 2nd mini-album ' the collective and unconscious soul:   chapter one ', officially racked up over 10 million views on YouTube, doing so in less than three days after its release on February 23 at 6 PM KST. The video has become the girl groups first music video to reach he 10 million landmark. Its clear K-pop has taken over world, with so many Korean pop bands now dominating the world charts.

Band Members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith talk about making music at the grand age of 60. Roland Orzabal  said “How can we bring our life experience  good and  bad to the table and make something that speaks to people. Our best work, and the work that’s lasted over the years is the stuff that resonates with people.” The band initially penned  a early version of the tipping point put decided to scrap it because they felt it wasn.t a Tears for Fears sound. However years later the band restarted work on the album and were  encouraged by their old manager to work with other songwriters including Dan Smith from Bastille and Sacha Skarbek, who wrote James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful and Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball.  Avril Lavigne Drops Seventh Studio Album  Love Sux Editor Katie Watkins 25-2-2022 Rock Princess Avril Lavigne is back with her seventh studio album LOVE SUX, the album which is set for release on the today 25th February 2022.  This will be her first album release since her 2019 album Head above water. Titled  Love Sux , the 12-track studio album is produced by Travis Barker's on her new record label DTA records.  The album features appearances from Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear, and writing contributions from Lavigne's boyfriend Mod Sun. Lavigne,  now 37, celebrated the release of  the album shortly before midnight on social media site Twitter alongside a GIF of herself banging on a door from a previous music video. The albums so far  seems to have had great reception with fans, with the album entering the iTunes album chart at number 2 and also hitting the number 4 spot on the amazon best seller chart. Fleetwood Mac: after its 926 weeks on the chart, who’s still buying Rumours? Editor Katie Watkins 10-2-2022 Fleetwood Mac released Rumours forty-five years ago this month, an album that combined some what gauzy soft pop, manicured folk and stormy rock with a soap-operatic level of intra-band strife.  Rumours won album of the year at the U.S. Grammys,  achieved 20 times platinum status in the US alone. What’s truly remarkable about this album is the album longevity , and how it continues to sell  thousands of new physical copies each year, despite being available to stream.  According to the UK’s Official Charts Company, Rumours sold over 34,593 vinyl copies in 2021, third only to new albums by Adele and Abba, and beating  new release by such artist as Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey.  Rumours also sold over 32,508 copies the previous year and  is currently sitting at No 29 in its 926th week on the UK  Official album chart, which is now up five places from the previous week.
