Madonna - Still The Queen Of Pop

Madonna - Still The Queen Of Pop Editor Katie Watkin's - 29/8/22 Madonna has proved again she still holds the crown as the queen of pop with the newly released remix album "Finally Enough Love" The album has seen global success with Madonna fans still wanting her back catalog of music.   The music icon may not have topped the UK music chart just missing out on the top spot to UK pop band Steps. However we don't think the material girl will be too disappointed as her album  sales have already thrashed that of the Steps on the global music market with no promotion. While Steps spent 5 days of promotion asking fans to buy multiple copies of their album with most fans buying at least 5 copies each due to band members signing individual album sleeves. The queen of pop has let her music to speak for itself and decided that no promotion was required, in my opinion, that was a mistake as promotion is key to having a successful album release. Even with the lack of promotion Ma...

Editor Katie WatKin's 21/8/22 Matt Goss former frontman for 80's pop band Bros, has returned to the UK after 11 years living in Vegas.  Over that time Matt Goss has been somewhat unkind to the UK and the media for his failed music career, blaming the press for his move to the USA back in 1995. Now it seems even Vegas has turned their back on Matt, with the singer failing to obtain a new residency.  The singer took to social media to announce his return and begged fans to meet him at Heathrow airport.   Goss also released his new homecoming single  "Are You Ready" on 12th August 2022.  Once again the singer took to social media and pleaded with fans to buy his single.  According to the Official Charts Company, Matt's single failed to chart on any official Music Chart with sales of less than 500 copies sold which included sales of downloads and streams with fans calling the si...

Matt Goss Return To UK As Vegas reject new residency. Editor Katie Watkin's  3/8/2022 Remember, 12 months ago, when Matt Goss was mapping a strategy to return to the Strip? Well, ditch that plan. The tides are shifting the 80's pop start has failed to carve out a new residency with vegas turning there back on the singer.   Matt who spent 10 years on the strip singing to crowds in the 150-capacity  gossy room, who was rumored over the years to have canceled show's last minutes, had tantrums and even struggled to pay his rent on his las vegas home.  Goss is not yet specifying the reason or project awaiting him in Britain.   The once 80's global star with brother Luke and friend Craig Logan dominated the airwaves of the late 80s and early 90s.  Since the demise of Bros Matt's solo career has never really taken off.   Matt whose solo career spans 30 years and in that time the singer has so less than 40,000 albums worldwide, with 3 of h...

Pulp reunite for 2011 concerts Music News : Katie Watkin's (Music Journalist) 7th Jan 2011 This article is more than 9 years ol Pulp  announced  they are to reunite for 2011 concerts in a short statement the band, which alongside Blur and Oasis defined the Britpop era, promised to play fan favourites as they confirmed dates at the Wireless festival in Hyde Park and at Spain's Primavera Sound festival, both next summer. A tour could follow. Pulp are  just one of the latest band to reform amid a wave of nostalgia, stretching from Led Zeppelin's comeback gig at the O2 arena in London in 2007 to Spandau Ballet's recent world tour.  But perhaps the most successful have been two other stalwarts of the 1990s; Blur, who reunited in 2009, with a headline slot at Glastonbury festival, and Take That, recently reunited with fifth member Robbie Williams.  Pulp appear to be prepared for the onslaught of questions that inevitably accompany news of a band's reunion.
