The reported hack threat came amid the ongoing lawsuit filed against Jay-Z by perfume brand Parlux Fragrances. The Perfume Giant Parlux are suing rap icon for beach of contract for his signature “Gold Jay-Z” cologne by failing to properly promote the frangrance. According to Parlux, Jay-Z backed out of a the contract after already only receiving $2 million dollars in royalties. The fragrance company also alleged that it lost a total of $18 million dollars from the failed venture.
