Kate Bush: Running Up That Hill reaches number one in UK  Editor Katie Watkin's  19 /6/22 Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush has grapped the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart 37 years after its release. Originally released in 1985, the song has enjoyed a new lease of life after featuring in the Netflix sci-fi show Stranger Things.   After reaching number two last week, it has now replaced Harry Styles' As It Was in the top slot.  Bush said she was "overwhelmed by the scale of affection" for her song.   "It's all happening really fast, as if it's being driven along by a kind of elemental force," the star said in a statement. "I have to admit I feel really moved by it all."  63-year-old Bush has become the oldest female artist to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart. Alec John Such death: Founding member of Bon Jovi dies aged 70 Editor Katie Watkin's 6-6-22 Founding member of Bon Jovi,  Alec John Such, has died at the age of 70.  The rock band announced the death on Sunday (5 June).  “He was an original,” Bon Jovi wrote in a post on social media.  “As a founding member of Bon Jovi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band.  “To be honest, we found our way to each other thru [sic] him,” the statement added.  “Alec was always wild and full of life. Today those special moments will bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.”  Such was a bassist for the rock band from 1983 to 1994.  Details of how he died haven’t been revealed. Bon Jovi credited Such for bringing the band together, revealing that he was a friend of drummer Tico Torres and brought him and songwriter Richie Sambora to see the band perform back in the day.   Such left Bon Jovi in 1994 when he was replaced by bassist Hugh McDonald....

 Luke Goss helps homeless man  Editor Katie Watkin's 26/05/22 Bros drummer Luke Goss has been classed as a hero when he came to the aid of a homeless man.  Luke Goss helped a homeless man named Chris, who had been hurt in an accident.  Luke came to the gentleman's aid and provided Chris with a new walker, blanket, pillows, clothing, and groceries, and also found him a safe place to sleep for the night.   Fans of the Bros drummer have to be taken to social media to thank luke for his kindness.   Luke Goss found fame as the drummer for 80's band Bros and also made a successful acting career has never been shy from helping those less fortunate.  The kind heart twin and brother of Matt Goss show that kindness to others in a way that is honest sincere and heartwarming.

   Blondie's Chris Stein pulls out of upcoming tour due to health condition Editor Steve Hart 21/4/22 70s rock band Blondie is set to go on tour across the UK in April and May this year, however, the band's longtime guitarist and co-founder Chris Stein has sadly announced that he won't be able to join them on tour due to a heart condition.   Chris took to social media to share the disappointing news and explained that he was suffering from a condition called Atrial Fibrillation which left him too fatigued to tour.   He also wrote: 'Yes, (murmur of the heart) this is indeed frustrating cause my brain is working great but my body's not up to the task of touring now.   The musician later posted on Instagram to say: 'I'm sorry I'm not gonna make the next round of Blondie shows. The agreement comes as part of a deal agreed between executives at Authentic Brands Group, the owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises, and Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).  Universal and Authentic now have exclusive rights to represent Elvis’s music globally, except in the U.K. “Elvis Presley has had an unprecedented and long lasting global impact on music and pop culture,” Marc Cimino, chief operating officer, said in a statement. Manic Street Preachers:  Welsh rock band beat Steps (again) to top album charts   Editor Katie Watkin's Manic Street Preachers are celebrating their first number one album in 23 years A after another chart battle  pop group Steps. The Welsh rock group hit the number 1 spot by securing over 27,000 chart sales of their 14th studio album.  The Ultra Vivid Lament, according to the Official Charts Company. This single is there first to be unveiled from there forthcoming album ‘Oochya!’, released on 4th March 2022. Victoria Beckham ,  Mel B ,  Geri Horner ,  Mel C  and  Emma Bunton  are celebrating their individual Spice personas – Posh, Scary, Ginger, Sporty, Ginger and Baby – with individual vinyl and cassette versions of the album available for fans to choose from.
