  Robbie Williams releases new single Lost. Editor Katie Watkin's 5- 8 -22 Can you believe it's been 25 years Robbie Williams being solo artist. The former Take That star has released his brand new single Lost from his forthcoming album XXV celebrating a quarter of a century of hits.   Inspired by his former "reckless behaviour", the new song is produced by Guy Chambers and Richard Flack, and is based on his more "turbulent times". Robbie said about the heartfelt offering: “Lost is about the times in my life when I’ve abandoned myself to reckless behaviour.  "My brand new single Lost is out now.  Robbie Williams Backlash Over Ticket Prices For Announced UK tour Editor Katie Watkins 17/6/22 Former Take that singer Robbie Williams has left fans  fuming at the prices of  up coming Robbie Williams’ XXV tour., or which pre-sale tickets went live earlier today.    It meant some fans had to let their tickets go after sitting in the Ticketmaster queue for more than half an hour, because they simply could not afford them.   Fans took social media with their fustration and said with the cost of living crisis rife and inflation at the highest in 40 years at nine per cent, many of us fans are struggling to even afford their weekly shop, nevermind a £100 plus gig.  It may be a treat, but the general feeling is the tour tickets are extortionate.  Exact prices for Birmingham’s Resorts World gig are unknown, although they range from £64.50 and go all the way up to £165.90.  The singer, 48, kicks off his XXV UK tour in London on October 9 and it...

   Tribute to Depeche Mode keyboardist Andy Fletcher Editor Katie Warkin's  27/5/22 Tributes have been flooding from fans after hearing that Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher the Depeche Mode’s keyboardist passed away on Friday.   The legendary electronic band announced the news of Fletcher's death via social media, saying they were "shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate."  Fletcher, aged 60, leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Grainne, and their two children.   The death of the keyboardist has come as unexpected news to millions of fans worldwide with many of whom have met Fletcher personally.  Other fans  simply felt close to him through the music of Depeche Mode.  One fan wrote “I grew up in the United Kingdom and found Depeche Mode with my best friend in 1981 through their single 'New Life'. Justin Bieber gets caught in a snowy shootout in new Honest music video Editor Katie Watkin's 29/4/22 Candian Pop superstar Justin Bieber takes to the slopes and gets caught in a snowy shootout in the video for his latest single Honest.   The Canadian singer, now 28 and rapper Don Toliver, 27, can be seen snowmobiling off-piste in the mountains with their partners when individuals dressed in all black attack the group.   Justin Bieber fell to the ground as he is shot in the leg, but appears to not be fatally injured as he lies on the ground and smokes.   US rapper Travis Scott is facing multiple lawsuits after at least eight people were killed and hundreds injured in a crush at his festival Astroworld. Prince performs first UK festival Editor Katie Watkin's 4-7-2011  The 53-year-old star came back for three encores in what was his first open air gig in England since 1993, despite years of Glastonbury rumours.     The Minneapolis musician does not have a strong association with agricultural life - unless you count the time he took a girl in a raspberry beret "down by Old Man Johnson's Farm".  But other aspects of the gig felt more like his infamous "aftershow" parties, with extended instrumental jams featuring an athletic seven-piece band.   The show  opened with a five-minute funk workout - a lightly-borne necessity, as Prince and his band endeavoured to set their sound levels after previous acts, including Tinie Tempah and Larry Graham, suffered from distorted bass and indistinct mixing.   It was a fascinating insight to how the fastidious musician organises his live band - calling on instruments to drop in and out, while issuing inst...

Pulp reunite for 2011 concerts Music News : Katie Watkin's (Music Journalist) 7th Jan 2011 This article is more than 9 years ol Pulp  announced  they are to reunite for 2011 concerts in a short statement the band, which alongside Blur and Oasis defined the Britpop era, promised to play fan favourites as they confirmed dates at the Wireless festival in Hyde Park and at Spain's Primavera Sound festival, both next summer. A tour could follow.
