As vinyl singles have continued to raise in popularity and with more vinyl singles being purchased than ever before, we look at the best-selling vinyl singles of 2022 so far.

Frank Turner’s A Wave Across The Bay (1) is named the best-selling vinyl single of the year 
so far in UK.

 The latest Official Charts Company data reveals that Frank tops the chart with a handful
of chart sales between him and his nearest competitor, Ghost’s Hunter’s Moon (2), with Yard Act Dark Days (3)

Following its special re-release for its 30th anniversary on a 7” limited edition vinyl, Shakespear’s Sister classic ballad Stay charts at Number (4) n the year-to-date Vinyl Singles Chart - it originally spent eight weeks at Number 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart back in 1992.

Arab Strap - Aphelion (5), Mysterines - Under Your Skin (6), Wolf Alice - The Last Man On Earth (7)
Khruangbin & Leon Bridges - Texas (8), The Specials - Ghost Town (9).

With Placebo’s Beautiful James, taken from their sensational top 3 UK album- NeverLet Me Go also earns them a chart entry at (10).

Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure.   The Official biggest vinyl albums and singles of 2022 so far Editor  Steve Hart 13/4/22 As vinyl albums and single continue to raise we look at the biggest sellers of 2022 so f ar. Yard Act claim the biggest vinyl album of 2022 so far with debut album The Overload.   It tops the Official Charts Company’s end-of-quarter Official Vinyl Chart with ease, selling over 11,000 copies  since its initial release in February Not far behind in second place are 80s icons Tears For Fears with  The Tipping Point , their first new album of original material in over 17 years, which also reached Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart. Black Country New Road  achieved their highest-ever UK chart placement with Ants From up  There earlier this year, and the experimental rock group bring home the third biggest vinyl  album on today’s newly unveiled list.   US rapper Travis Scott is facing multiple lawsuits after at least eight people were killed and hundreds injured in a crush at his festival Astroworld.
