As vinyl singles have continued to raise in popularity and with more vinyl singles being purchased than ever before, we look at the best-selling vinyl singles of 2022 so far.

Frank Turner’s A Wave Across The Bay (1) is named the best-selling vinyl single of the year 
so far in UK.

 The latest Official Charts Company data reveals that Frank tops the chart with a handful
of chart sales between him and his nearest competitor, Ghost’s Hunter’s Moon (2), with Yard Act Dark Days (3)

Following its special re-release for its 30th anniversary on a 7” limited edition vinyl, Shakespear’s Sister classic ballad Stay charts at Number (4) n the year-to-date Vinyl Singles Chart - it originally spent eight weeks at Number 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart back in 1992.

Arab Strap - Aphelion (5), Mysterines - Under Your Skin (6), Wolf Alice - The Last Man On Earth (7)
Khruangbin & Leon Bridges - Texas (8), The Specials - Ghost Town (9).

With Placebo’s Beautiful James, taken from their sensational top 3 UK album- NeverLet Me Go also earns them a chart entry at (10).

   Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police.
