 Tom Parker: The Wanted singer dies. Editor Katie Watkins 30/3/22 The Wanted star Tom Parker has passed away at the age of 33 after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer ,  the British boy band have announced. The singer told fans in October 2020 that he had an inoperable tumour.  Tom Parker wife Kelsey Hardwick wrote on social media : "Our hearts are broken."  The singer and his wife  had two young children together. She added: "Tom was the centre of our world. We can't imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence, w e are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom's light continues to shine for his beautiful children. The singer / Drummer is no longer able to play the drums, piano or even stand. The legendry star, 71, bid and emotional farewell to his last weekend while confirming his performance at the 02 Arena would be his last live performance as part of Genesis and as solo artist. The band have opened up about how they “thought the band was over” after their previous “retrospective” tour. The band member Brian Molko  talked about how touring since their last album release in 2013, ‘Loud Like Love’ left them creatively spent.  The tours that followed the release of the album were to mark their 20th anniversary as a band and tour a second ‘best of’ collection. Brian Molko said “We weren’t particularly comfortable with the prospect of doing a retrospective and retrospective tour.”  “At the time we were  still under contract with Universal Records, and we had the feeling that we’d lose all support from them if we didn’t embark on this hideously materialistic and mercantile endeavour.” The band’s co-founder Stefan

Editor Katie Watkin's  28/3/22 B illie Eilish has celebrated a historic win, scooping the Oscar for Best Original Song at last Oscar ceremony for the track    for "No Time To Die." The track was also co wrote with her brother  Finneas  - beat stiff competition from Lin-Manuel  Miranda  (Encanto), long-time nominee Diane Warren (Four Good Days) and even Beyonce herself (King Richard). Written for the James Bond film of the same name, and the final to see Daniel Craig star as 007, No Time To Die became the third consecutive Bond song to win an Oscar. Previous winners include  Adele for Skyfall in 2012, and Sam Smith for Writing On The Wall from Spectre in 2017.  Accepting the award, Billie thanked the siblings parents, who " have always been our biggest inspirations and our heroes. Taylor Hawkins death: Foo Fighters drummer dies at 50

   Taylor Hawkins death:  Foo Fighters drummer dies at 50 Editor Katie Watkins 26/3/22 Legendary  drummer for the rock band Foo Fighters, has died at the age of 50, Taylor  Hawkins's passed away on  Friday according to reports issued by the band. “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever.” “Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginable difficult time.” The cause of death has yet to be  determined.  Tributes have been flowing in for the drummer, with musicians and fans across the world expressing their shock at his sudden passing.   At the time of Hawkins’ death, The Foo Fighters were on tour in  South America . The band had just played in San Isidro, Argentina, last Sunday and were due to  perform in  Bogota ,  Colombia , on Friday night – the day his death was announced.
