Manic Street Preachers:  Welsh rock band beat Steps (again) to top album charts   Editor Katie Watkin's Manic Street Preachers are celebrating their first number one album in 23 years A after another chart battle  pop group Steps. The Welsh rock group hit the number 1 spot by securing over 27,000 chart sales of their 14th studio album.  The Ultra Vivid Lament, according to the Official Charts Company. In midweek the gap between the two bands were less 300 copies with H from steps going to twitter begging their fans buy multiple copies and not let the Manic's win.  Steps in their futile attempt to obtain the number 1 spot , released  other several other deluxe version of there album "What the Future Holds Part 2" with digital downloads simple known as Afterparty Edition's.  Steps also released 5 different signed version of the band members to try increase sales.   By 12 midnight the cut of point for the official charts company to record sales disptite every attempt

  STEREOPHONICS announce new album ‘Oochya!’ Editor Katie Warkin's 6-9-2021 Stereophonics are back with a new single ‘Hanging On Your Hinges’. This single is there first to be unveiled from there forthcoming album ‘Oochya!’, released on 4th March 2022. Kelly Jones was reported saying:  “‘Hanging On Your Hinges’ was influenced by his love of early ZZ Top and darker stuff like Masters of Reality (and maybe some Iggy Pop too). Oochya!’ follows Stereophonics’ previous album ‘Kind’, which went to Number One in the UK ofiicial album charts in 2019, outselling nearest competitor Kanye West by over 10,000 copies according to the official charts company. As the band celebrate their 25th year, ‘Hanging On Your Hinges’ is a gloriously unshackled palette cleanser for fans ahead of the multifaceted, ‘Oochya!’. With distorted question-and-answer vocals and scuzzed up guitars, it’s a song that harks back to some of the band’s loudest moments, drawing on Kelly Jones’ love of garage rock. After 18

Placebo announce exclusive 2022 UK festival show Editor Katie Watkin's   date 3 September 2021 Placebo  have announced an exclusive 2022 UK festival show.The group will be headlining Bearded Theory’s Spring Gathering which will take place next May, 26-29 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire. They will top the bill alongside  Patti Smith  and  The Flaming Lips  and will give fans a “‘tantalising taste of some brand-new material.”

Spice Girls announce 25th-anniversary reissue of debut album 'Spice' with unheard tracks Editor Katie Watkins date 1st/9/2021 The  Spice Girls  are releasing a limited edition of their debut album  Spice  featuring unheard tracks to mark its 25th anniversary. Victoria Beckham ,  Mel B ,  Geri Horner ,  Mel C  and  Emma Bunton  are celebrating their individual Spice personas – Posh, Scary, Ginger, Sporty, Ginger and Baby – with individual vinyl and cassette versions of the album available for fans to choose from. The band announced on Twitter: "SURPRISE!!To mark the 25th Anniversary of our debut album ‘Spice’ we are releasing a limited edition collection of vinyl and cassettes PLUS a 2CD deluxe featuring some previously unreleased tracks and demos. The band also said  "Thank you to the best fans in the world for your continued support and for sticking with us 25 years on, we love you!!! #SPICE25"
