U2's frontman Bono, and bandmate the Edge have performed a 40-minute concert in a subway station in Kyiv and praised Ukrainians fighting for their freedom from Russia. 

Bono said  “Your president leads the world in the cause of freedom right now … the people of Ukraine are not just fighting for your own freedom, you’re fighting for all of us.

  Russia have now pushed on towards Kyiv after invading Ukraine on 24 February before withdrawing its forces from near the capital at the end of March to concentrate its forces in the east of the country.

Russia is continuing to carry out missile strikes across Ukraine, some life has returned to Kyiv even though air raid sirens sound regularly.  
Bono and the edge rallied the crowd between songs during his performance. 

Bon said  “This evening, 8 May, shots will ring out in the Ukraine sky, but you’ll be free at last. They can take your lives, but they can never take your pride.”

Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. Luke Goss on his time to shine. Editor Katie Watkin's 4 /2/ 22 Starting his career alongside his brother Matt, Luke Goss was the beloved drummer from 80's Global sensation Bros. Even though Matt was the singer, Luke had thousands of adoring fans who would follow him everywhere. After the split of Bros in 1992 , Luke created his rock group named Luke Goss and the Band of Thieves.
