Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior.
The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life.
The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police.
The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.
The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook were shocking. The post came from users like Kelly Monkhouse,
Mandy Gibbs (Heath care assistant (Addenbrooke Hospital ) Dee Murphy, Leanne Golder (Luton and Dunstable Hospital Diabetes manager) Jade Blears, Samantha Ann Hearthington, and other users were so
bad he felt like killing himself.
He went on to say that online abuse should be made a criminal offense with those perpetrators, some of which were professional Teachers, Police Support Workers, Nurses, and home care workers being brought to justice.
He also said, " I feel social media sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter need to do more to protect the innocent from abuse". He went on to say that the support he got from other social media members was just incredible
Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson have both since retracted their posts and have asked all members who shared their post do the same so as not to cause any more distress or harm to the individual. Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson have both accepted their action were not acceptable and promised to refrain from that kind of behavior in the future.
However, most fans across the social media platforms are in agreement that the apology was not an apology, and are asking that Michael and Rob provide a better response.
Fans felt that Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson have not gone far enough, they are demanding they both provide a more heartful response as they believe their behavior has resulted in bad press for Matt Goss and has damaged the reputation of an innocent individual.
Fans of Matt Goss have also vocally posted about their frustration that they were not happy that Matt Goss did not step in or contact the individual in private message.
We tried to Contact Matt Goss, Rob Ferguson, and Michael Licata to ask them about the post they put up but were advised that they were not available for comment.
Matt Goss is also back in the UK to promote the release of his new album "THE BEAUTIFUL UNKNOWN which is set for release on the 4th February 2022, and features the singles somewhere To Fall, Better With You and Saved.
We are informed that Police are investigating and making enquires to the criminal complaint.
We contacted Transend music to get there side reposnse they declined to comment.
What I read was no apology, just both Rob and Michael making out they done nothing wrong. The guys destroyed the life of innocent person and got others to troll and bully this person and the scary thing these vile woman did it.

Michael Licata needs sacking and Matt should no how damaging false accusation can be. As he forgot the 1989 Sunday People defamation Lawsuit he took against the paper for accusing him and brother Luke dealing in drugs.
I so agree with these comment's the whole situation is a joke and those sheep who acted in such awful manner because a person they don't even know, like the knob heads that are Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson, they both asked them to share a post.

What did surprise me was the action of Kelli Monkhouse, Peter Stevenson (who himself breached copyright by producing two homemade unofficial bros books he made without the consent and licenses from CBS Records or the Photographer who took the original Bros Images.
Pete Stevenson then used the unlicensed images in these two books, which he raffled off and made money from the raffle. That is copyright infringement ).
Then you had MGA member Tracey Jolesa Marriot who sold unofficial Matt Goss mechanised when she used the MG logo on Cups, Money Boxes, Face Mask, T-shirts etc and who also sold items using designer brands like Gucci, Channel.
I know plenty of people who bought from her through many Bros pages including Samantha , David, Michelle etc. Their was also Tracey Allen and Michelle Lee selling unofficial Matt stuff over the years. No one complained about them making money of Matt Goss's Logo and Images. Their have been many fans who made and sold unofficial bros / Matt Goss merchandise that breach copyright.
Their are fans who go online and have things made like bros towels, Bros Cups, Matt Goss T-shirts, Pillow cases, Watches. I know fans that have Bros wall art made, candles etc their all in breach of copyright, because they have used a image without paying for the license or obtaining the consent of the right owner, so they should look at their own actions before accusing another person
I think Rob and Michael haved ruined matt's career, when i speak to fan's they say as long and Matt's respresented by these two, they will not purchase any of Matt's music.

ReplyDeleteFerguson and Licata are the two worst failures of so called managers in the music buisness todate . All these events were flops because they can't orgainse anything in a proffesional manner - for example Matt Goss Hilton tour flop, Matt Goss album launch Coventry flop, Pryzm Flop.

ReplyDeleteHonestly Matt might be supporting bullying in a way...sorry but the tantrums he throws as soon as someone does not agree with him are a form of it. That might also be why no labels or decent management want to work with him since as soon as they would dare to disagree they would get yelled at.
