Starting his career alongside his brother Matt, Luke Goss was the beloved drummer from 80's Global sensation Bros. Even though Matt was the singer, Luke had thousands of adoring fans who would follow him everywhere.
After the split of Bros in 1992 , Luke created his rock group named Luke Goss and the Band of Thieves. They had some chart success with such singles as Sweeter Than The Midnight Rain and, Give Me One More Chance.
Just lately it seems Luke somewhat fallen back in love with music and started writing songs including his most recent release "Free."
The single has shown that Luke is on par with his brother when it comes to singing, with his Instagram videos delighting his fans and followers.
The kind-hearted and down-to-earth Goss brother, who has recently separated from long-time wife and ex George Michael backing singer, Shirley Lewis, has also taken to painting while in lockdown and created some beautiful yet elegant masterpieces.
While looking back on his life, Luke spent time in the desert and wrote a book named "Desert Conversation." where he speaks about mental health an spiritual healing.
It seems the quiet of the Goss brothers has now come to fruition and is showing the world what he made off. With fans asking for Luke to release a solo album, we can somewhat only hope he takes up the offer and releases one very soon.
Luke has a beautiful yet charming charisma, and his smile can brighten up a room and since the release of the Bros documentary back in 2017, Luke has seen an increase in his fan base and attracting newcomers who may not have known about him before.
The fly-on-wall documentary revealed how Luke and Craig's logan were pushed aside by Tom Watkin and Nicky Graham in favor of Matt. Luke also talked about how he felt not having his brother support.
Things are now certainly looking brighter for Luke Goss, and we cannot wait to see and hear more from this beautiful soul. Maybe Matt should consider looking up to his older sibling and resolving his own demons and remember friends come, friends go, but family stay loyal.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful article on such a sweet Iconic actor / singer/ drummer. Luke has been my first love since school followed by Craig logan. Bros for me were the best band in the world and it;s a shame Luke was treated so badly escpically by his brother. While Luke evolved into a beautiful swan,i'm afraid matt still the self-centred ugly duckling who thinks of nobody but money and ego- maybe he needs to read the words love to hate you but matt eg the size of mountain.

He is just doing his thing and not asking anything from anyone and bless him for just being this really kind and talented soul. He definitly does not receive enough recognition for his work
