Tears for Fears:

The Tipping Point

The long-awaited return

Editor Marvin Jackson - 25 / 02/22

Tears for Fears are back with there stunning new album "The Tipping Point. Band Members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith talk about making music at the grand age of 60.

Roland Orzabal  said “How can we bring our life experience  good and  bad to the table and make something that speaks to people. Our best work, and the work that’s lasted over the years is the stuff that resonates with people.”

The band initially penned  a early version of the tipping point put decided to scrap it because they felt it wasn.t a Tears for Fears sound.

However years later the band restarted work on the album and were encouraged by their old manager to work with other songwriters including Dan Smith from Bastille and Sacha Skarbek, who wrote James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful and Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball.

And while they were happy with some of these songs, it didn’t feel right for a Tears For Fears album.

Roland Orzabal adds: “Our then manager didn’t want to promote us any more in terms of being  a credible recording artists.

"He wanted us just to be more like a nostalgia 80's band. One of the first times he’d seen us play live in Dallas, he saw that we were good and wanted us on the road.

“Straight away he saw the financial potential we could make from touring, but he didn’t instinctively trust us just to do our own thing and make a real Tears For Fears album.

We felt that our manager wanted us to sing our classic hits but having written classic pop songs including the smash hits Mad World, Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Sowing The Seeds Of Love, it seems absurd that we, were not encouraged to write a new album ourselves.

The band now has the same manager as  Harry Styles, Orzabal and Smith are now looking forward to the future.

The new album is some what of new chapter in there music career. "The Tipping Point is a beautiful and majestic album that will give the duo plenty of  worldwide acclaim, fans will not be disappointed its a musical triumph.

The album is now available  to buy from good Record retail outlets  and can be downloaded from good streaming site.

Bananarama are known for their Iconic-hits like  Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love in the First Degree, to name a few.   But the all three women were “difficult” to work with, according to their former producer, Peter Waterman, who described the artists as “punks”.   Waterman told The Sun: “I fought with them about everything. They saw themselves as punks who were not prepared to be manipulated by any man.   “If I dared to argue or if I didn’t see things the way they did, they ...

Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook w...

Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure.
