The Red Hot Chili Peppers have secured their fifth UK Number 1 album this week with Unlimited Love, 20 years after claiming their first chart-topper.

Unlimited Love – the group’s twelfth studio album - sees members Anthony Kiedis, Flea and Chad Smith reunite with guitarist John Frusciante for the first time since his departure in 2009.

Prior to this, Red Hot Chili Peppers have topped the Official Albums Chart with By The Way (2002), Live in Hyde Park (2004), Stadium Arcadium (2006) and I’m With You (2011). Unlimited Love also tops this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart. See Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Official Charts history in full here.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour climbs 5 places to Number 3 following her success at the Grammys this week. The ceremony saw Sour crowned Best Pop Vocal Album, with Olivia also winning Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance for Drivers Licence.

Harry Styles’ 2019 album Fine Line vaults 22 places up the chart as his latest single As It Was claims the biggest opening week of 2022 so far. Fine Line also jumps 12 spots on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart this week (16). Further down the chart, Harry sees his 2017 self-titled debut return to the Top 40 at Number 37. Sam Fender’s Seventeen Going Under vaults eight to Number 13 following the culmination of his arena tour this week, meanwhile, Essex-born rapper French the Kid is a new entry at Number 21 with his debut mixtape Never Been Ordinary.

The Wanted’s Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits collection makes a big return to the Official Albums Chart, highest climber of the week on the Official Albums Chart Top 40, up 80 places and entering back in at Number 22 following member Tom Parker’s tragic death last week. Upon its original release in 2021, the collection became the group’s fourth UK Top 10 album, succeeding 2010’s The Wanted (4), 2011 record Battleground (5) and 2013 release Word of Mouth (9).

Editor Katie Watkin's  27/10/2020  Pop Diva's Bananarama are a three-piece girl band who came together in 1979 while studying fashion in London.  While two of the members, Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin, were childhood friends, they met Irish musician and third member Siobhan Fahey as students.  So what caused the trio  to have one of the messiest break-ups in pop history, and who was behind it ? Bananarama are known for their Iconic-hits like  Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love in the First Degree, to name a few.   But the all three women were “difficult” to work with, according to their former producer, Peter Waterman, who described the artists as “punks”.   Waterman told The Sun: “I fought with them about everything. They saw themselves as punks who were not prepared to be manipulated by any man.   “If I dared to argue or if I didn’t see things the way they did, they ...

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA  AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED   PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook w...

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasi...
