Machine Gun Kelly – ‘Mainstream Sellout’

 The one-man pop-punk revival.

Editor Marvin Jackson 30/3/22

Machine Gun Kelly’s  finally released his new album "Mainstream Sellout" which is in a three way chart battle with Placebo and Michael Bublé.

The Punk poster boy who has a magnetic mix of glam, grime and guitar, the singer went from rapper to pop punk superstar.

With his new album 'mainstream sellout', he's ready to prove he's no poseur.

The album so far has received great reception from fans buying and streaming the album with new release charting on iTunes in over 17 countries.

UK(3) USA (1) AUSTRIA (3) AUSTRLIA (2) BELGIUM (9)
BRAZIL (2) CANADA (2) DEMARK (16) FRANCE (13)
GERMANY (5) ITALY (5) IRELAND (4) NETERLANDS (28)
NEW ZEALAND (6) SOUTH AFRICA (6) SPAIN (12)
SWITZERLAND (8) TURKEY (8)

Is it strange that the fresh face of pop-punk 2.0 was previously  known, not too long ago, as a moderately successful white rapper?

Not for an artist who likened himself to Jackass’ Steve-O on his 2011 breakout hit, “Wild Boy”; who insisted on leading a live band and playing guitar onstage back when his only chart hits were pop-rap team-ups with junior-varsity divas; who was covering Blink-182.

"Mainstream Sellout" seemingly picks up where we left "Tickets To My Downfall  with  the lead single "Born With Horns" making for the perfect transition into Machine Gun Kelly  new LP.

Honestly, it’s Travis Barker taking centre stage here from the get go, before the vocals kick in. We’re off to a good start, especially as it transitions into "God Save Me ".
. I can honestly feel more emotion seep through on this record already.
The album as brought back the good days of Punk and Grunge and is refreshing to have this kind of music instead of the sad love song thrown out by artist like Adele.

Machine Gun Kelly will be appearing at the Pryzm 154 Clarence Street Kingston Upon Thames  on Monday 3rd October 2022 where is album and tickets for his have show have sold out with in minutes with extra dates being scheduled because of massive demand.

Bananarama feud: Why did Bananarama break-up?

Bananarama feud:  Why did Bananarama break-up? Editor Katie Watkin's  27/10/2020  Pop Diva's Bananarama are a three-piece girl band who came together in 1979 while studying fashion in London.  While two of the members, Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin, were childhood friends, they met Irish musician and third member Siobhan Fahey as students.  So what caused the trio  to have one of the messiest break-ups in pop history, and who was behind it ? Bananarama are known for their Iconic-hits like  Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love in the First Degree, to name a few.   But the all three women were “difficult” to work with, according to their former producer, Peter Waterman, who described the artists as “punks”.   Waterman told The Sun: “I fought with them about everything. They saw themselves as punks who were not prepared to be manipulated by any man.   “If I dared to argue or if I didn’t see things the way they did, they ...

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA  AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED   PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook w...

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasi...
