The King of Pop Michael Jackson sadly passed away on June 25, 2009 leaving fans worldwide devastated.

However the global superstar may not no longer be with us, but as you might of have expected, Michael Jackson music lives on with the artist having tremendous album sales since his death.

In the immediate aftermath of his death, Jackson’s album back catalogue  and digital sales skyrocketed, but the strong sales trend has continued for the past 13 years.

In fact, the past 13 years the King of Pop has seen some of the strongest in sales for Jackson since Nielsen SoundScan’s inception in 1991.

According to the company’s data, Michael Jackson has sold 13.228 million albums since his death. In the four years prior to his death (2004-2008), he sold a combined total of 3.934 million, less than 30% of his sales since his death.

Even adding in the six months of album sales prior to his death in June 2009 only raises the total to 4.231 million albums. That’s a remarkable increase of 68% in album sales for the five year period following his death. In fact, it takes Jackson’s combined sales from 1996 to 2008 to even come close to his sales in the past five years. In that 13-year span, Jackson sold 13.152 million albums.

Jackson’s annual sales took a huge hit in the mid-’90s when the first child sexual abuse allegations were brought against him by Jordan Chandler. Jackson was ill advised by those he trusted to settled the case out of court in 1994, as it was rumoured that Jordan Chandler father cohered Jordan into making the allegation after Michael refused to lend him 13 million dollars for a film project.

but the sadly the impact on Michaels sales was tremendous and mostly continued throughout the rest of his life. Sales dropped from more than 2 million in 1993 to 555,000 in 1994. Michael Jackson would face additional accusations in the 2000s, for which he would ultimately be acquitted for any wrong doing.

Album releases in 1995 (“HIStory”) and 2001 (“Invincible”) boosted Jackson’s sales for those years, but beyond that he struggled to sell a million albums per year. Since his death, he’s averaging more than two-and-a-half million per year. The numbers are somewhat front-skewed, though, as Jackson sold more than 2 million albums in the three weeks immediately following his death.

Michael Jackson sadly passed away while rehearsing for a series of 50 concerts in London titled “This Is It,” with the singer suggesting retirement after the show. The previous years had seen financial struggles for the singer, but the tremendous interest in the concert series, which was extended from an original 10-concert plan due to record-breaking ticket sales, was poised to bring in millions.

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasing multiple

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA  AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED   PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook were shocking. Luke Goss on his time to shine. Editor Katie Watkin's 4 /2/ 22 Starting his career alongside his brother Matt, Luke Goss was the beloved drummer from 80's Global sensation Bros. Even though Matt was the singer, Luke had thousands of adoring fans who would follow him everywhere. After the split of Bros in 1992 , Luke created his rock group named Luke Goss and the Band of Thieves. They had some chart success with such singles as Sweeter Than The Midnight Rain and, Give Me One More Chance. Luke, now is the most successful of the Goss brothers, and has built up an incredible acting career.  Just lately it seems Luke somewhat fallen back in love with music and started writing songs  including his most recent release "Free." The single has shown that Luke is on par with his brother when it comes to singing, with his Instagram videos delighting his fans and followers.
