Rock Princess Avril Lavigne is back with her seventh studio album LOVE SUX, the album which is set for release on the today 25th February 2022. 

This will be her first album release since her 2019 album Head above water.

Titled Love Sux, the 12-track studio album is produced by Travis Barker's on her new record label DTA records. 

The album features appearances from Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear, and writing contributions from Lavigne's boyfriend Mod Sun.

Lavigne,  now 37, celebrated the release of  the album shortly before midnight on social media site Twitter alongside a GIF of herself banging on a door from a previous music video.

The albums so far  seems to have had great reception with fans, with the album entering the iTunes album chart at number 2 and also hitting the number 4 spot on the amazon best seller chart.

Love Sux features Lavigne's collaboration with Barker called "Bite Me," which she debuted in November 2021 alongside an energetic TikTok. 

The short video shows Lavigne rocking out on her electric guitar in an eclectic room as Barker slammed on the drums.

"He played on [my album] The Best Damn Thing. That was 15 years ago, so it was great to reconnect with him for this record.




Album is available to stream and download for all good streaming site  and available to purchase from official record outlets.

The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police.
