Adele heading for second week at Number 1 on Official Albums Chart with 30

Editor Katie Watkins - 29-11-2021

Global superstar Adele is heading for a second week at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with her record-breaking fourth album, 30.

Last week, 30 debuted at the top of the UK Official chart with record-breaking sales, becoming the fastest-selling album of 2021 so far, as well as the highest first-week sales for a female album in the UK since 25 in 2015.

30 is currently tracking to retain its Number 1 position, holding off its nearest competition;  from Irish boyband Westlife who released their new album Wild Dreams, which is currently set to debut at Number 2, it would be their 14th UK Top 10 album.

Other new entries are from  Gary Barlow who is on track to enter the chart at number 4 and this would be his fifth Top 10, with his new album The Dream of Christmas.

Rebounding seven places to Number 6 is Rod Stewart’s The Tears of Hercules, while Michael Buble’s festive Christmas rises 10 spots to Number 7. Elton John’s former chart-topper The Lockdown Sessions could also rise back into the Top 10 this week, currently vaulting six to Number 8

Editor Katie Watkin's  27/10/2020  Pop Diva's Bananarama are a three-piece girl band who came together in 1979 while studying fashion in London.  While two of the members, Keren Woodward and Sara Dallin, were childhood friends, they met Irish musician and third member Siobhan Fahey as students.  So what caused the trio  to have one of the messiest break-ups in pop history, and who was behind it ? Bananarama are known for their Iconic-hits like  Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love in the First Degree, to name a few.   But the all three women were “difficult” to work with, according to their former producer, Peter Waterman, who described the artists as “punks”.   Waterman told The Sun: “I fought with them about everything. They saw themselves as punks who were not prepared to be manipulated by any man.   “If I dared to argue or if I didn’t see things the way they did, they ...

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA  AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED   PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook w...

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasi...
