 Adele: 30 becomes 2021's fastest-selling album.

Editor Kate Watkins - 27-11-2021

Adele's new album "30" has topped the number one spot and over taken Abba to become the fastest-selling album of 2021.
"30" has shifted over 261,000 copies within the first 7 days of release according to the official charts company.
This means "30" has now surpassed Swedish pop group ABBA 'S ALBUM "Voyage "  which sold just over 204,000 copies within it's first week of sale.
Adele has not only took the number 1 spot on the album chart but also has 3 new entries including holding on the number 1 spot with "Easy On Me" on the Official Single Chart.
Adele has also seen a massive decline in sales compared to her past albums releases
which include her third album "25".

"25" sold over 800,000 copies in it's  first-week sales, which means 30 has sold 32%  less of its predecessor

The drop can be partially explained by the huge growth of streaming over the past few l years . Added to which, there was a greater incentive for fans to buy 25, as it was kept off all the streaming platforms for first six months of release.

Adele's "30" has also become 2021’s best-selling album in the US, in just three days after the album was released. According to Billboard report "30" has shifted over 500,000 copies in the US between 19 November and 21 November.

It has already surpassed the year’s previous top-seller Taylor Swift’s Evermore, that was released on 11 December 2020 and sold 462,000 copies in 2021 as of last week.

Bananarama are known for their Iconic-hits like  Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting and Love in the First Degree, to name a few.   But the all three women were “difficult” to work with, according to their former producer, Peter Waterman, who described the artists as “punks”.   Waterman told The Sun: “I fought with them about everything. They saw themselves as punks who were not prepared to be manipulated by any man.   “If I dared to argue or if I didn’t see things the way they did, they ...

MATT GOSS MANAGERS MICHAEL LICATA  AND ROB FERGUSON POSTED   PATHEIC APOLOGY TO A FAN WHO THEY BOTH VICOUSLY ATTACKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Editor Katie Watkins 11-11-2021 Rob Ferguson and Michael Licata who both manage 80's Pop icon and Bros frontman Matt Goss have both been forced to give an apology for the disgusting abusive and vile behavior. The action of Michael Licata and Rob Ferguson (Lit Management / Transcend Music) both asked members of several Facebook groups to share their vile posts, which escalated to a vicious assault on a male fan reputation and threats to his life. The attacks were so bad the male fan had received threats from hundreds of fans in which numerous fans were investigated by the police. The male fan graciously accepted the pathetic apology, which when read was more about Rob and Michael than a sincere apology.  The fan told us that the online trolling and the horrendous behavior by some middle-aged woman who posted vile comments on Facebook w...

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out

Matt Goss Beautiful Unknown London Show Fails To Sell Out Editor Katie Watkin's 24/4/22 Matt Goss once again failed to generate any interest from fans for his one show London Palladium performance. Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasi...
