Matt Goss Return To UK As Vegas reject new residency.

Editor Katie Watkin's  3/8/2022

Remember, 12 months ago, when Matt Goss was mapping a strategy to return to the Strip? Well, ditch that plan. The tides are shifting the 80's pop start has failed to carve out a new residency with vegas turning there back on the singer.

Matt who spent 10 years on the strip singing to crowds in the 150-capacity  gossy room, who was rumored over the years to have canceled show's last minutes, had tantrums and even struggled to pay his rent on his las vegas home.

Goss is not yet specifying the reason or project awaiting him in Britain.   The once 80's global star with brother Luke and friend Craig Logan dominated the airwaves of the late 80s and early 90s.  Since the demise of Bros Matt's solo career has never really taken off.

Matt whose solo career spans 30 years and in that time the singer has so less than 40,000 albums worldwide, with 3 of his 5 studio albums failing to chart according to the UK official Charts company.

Matt's recent album release was also a failure according to sales figures with the album charting for only 1 week in April 2022 despite there being no new releases by any credible pop artist or group, the album scraped to number 7 in the Uk official chart with worldwide sales less than 8000.

The singer's return is being treated as temporary with rumors of maybe six months to a year, but he has packed up his home and has even brought his Frenchie back with him.

The @TeamMattGoss Instagram feed says Goss is due to return to London on Tuesday. 2nd August 2022  and was once again begging fans to attend Heathrow Airport (1:35 p.m.)  Once again their begging and pleading fell on deaf ears with only the usual 30, 40  fans attending.

Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage.  This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers.  His management team also took to social media begging fans to buy, with one fan Dee Murphy posting buy tickets it's less than a pedicure. Tickets last week continued to struggle with some fans once again purchasi...

Fleetwood Mac: after its 926 weeks on the chart, who’s still buying Rumours?

Fleetwood Mac: after its 926 weeks on the chart, who’s still buying Rumours? Editor Katie Watkins 10-2-2022 Fleetwood Mac released Rumours forty-five years ago this month, an album that combined some what gauzy soft pop, manicured folk and stormy rock with a soap-operatic level of intra-band strife.  Rumours won album of the year at the U.S. Grammys,  achieved 20 times platinum status in the US alone. What’s truly remarkable about this album is the album longevity , and how it continues to sell  thousands of new physical copies each year, despite being available to stream.  According to the UK’s Official Charts Company, Rumours sold over 34,593 vinyl copies in 2021, third only to new albums by Adele and Abba, and beating  new release by such artist as Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey.  Rumours also sold over 32,508 copies the previous year and  is currently sitting at No 29 in its 926th week on the UK  Official album chart, which is now up five pl...
