Culture Club New Music and Tour

80'S Pop stars Boy George & Culture Club have announced a series of exclusive UK outdoor shows as part of the Heritage Live Concert Series for 2022.
The multi-million selling group will be performing some of their great hits at some of the country’s most stunning venues, including this very special concert in the grounds of Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath in London on Friday 17th June 2022.
One of the most representative and influential bands of the 1980s, Culture Club have sold over 150 million records worldwide. Winners of numerous awards.
They rose to fame in the early 1980s with an illustrious music career now spanning four decades.
The band has been recongised as a Grammy Award winning UK institution with a stream of classic hits including; ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me’, ‘Karma Chameleon’, ‘Church Of The Poison Mind’, ‘Victims’, ‘It’s A Miracle’ and ‘The War Song.’
Culture Club consists of four members, Boy George (lead vocals), Roy Hay (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Mikey Craig (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Jon Moss (drums, percussion, backing vocals).
However, in 2018 Jon stepped away from touring after the band's US leg. Since forming Culture Club in 1981 the band have not changed their line-up, however they have had a couple of hiatuses 1996 - 1998 and 2002 - 2011.
Boy George who was recently scene out in london and stole the show at the recent Matt goss event, was reported to say he extremely excited about touring and the possiability of new music.
The group will also being on the festival trail with another 80's legendary band, girl group Bananarama.
Originally formed as a trio in 1981 became an omnipresent staple of the British pop music scene in the 80s consistently producing hit after hit, with timeless classics including ‘Shy Boy’, ‘Cruel Summer’ and ‘Really Saying Something’
Their staying power would ultimately be solidified when they released ‘Venus’ which topped the US charts in 1986.
Their incredible run between 1982 and 2009 saw the group achieve a total of 28 singles in the UK’s Top 50 Singles Chart, and a Guinness World Record for the most chart entries ever for an all-female group.
Both these bands are great live.
