Blossoms score third UK Number One album with ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’
Stockport band the Blossoms have scored their third UK Number One album with ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’, it has been confirmed.
The band’s latest album follows their previous releases, in 2016’s ‘Blossoms’ and 2020’s ‘Foolish Loving Spaces’, in topping the UK Official Album Chart.
The band took to social media to thank fans and said “We don’t see a limit to what we can achieve.”
As well as hitting the top spot on the official album chart, the new album has also claimed the Number One spot on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart.
90 per cent sales of ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’’s came from Physical formats according to the Official Charts Company.
The band beat out competition from Future, whose latest release ‘I Never Liked You’ landed at Number Two, Rammstein’s ‘Zeit’ (Number Three), the continued charting dominance of Ed Sheeran’s ‘=’ (Number Four), and British rock band Thunder’s ‘Dopamine’ (Number Five).
