Nadine Coyle hints at Girls Aloud reunion for 20-year anniversary in honour Sarah Harding.
Girls Aloud Nadine Coyle has hinted at a possible Girls Aloud reunion to celebrate their 20-year anniversary, following the recent death of her bandmate Sarah Harding from Breast cancer.
Sarah Harding who passed away on 5th September this year aged just 39 after a short battle with breast cancer, which had spread to other parts of her body.
Sarah who was one of five members of Girl Aloud along side Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Kimberly Walsh and Nadine Coyle.
The girls who won the ITV talent show "Pop Star - The Rivals" beating boy band "One True Voice", released five studio albums during their time together.
Nadine Coyle has said Harding's death provided a driving force for her, hinting the band could reform as a four-piece for the anniversary of Harding's death. "This last year or two has shown that life can change so quickly and It's taught me life is too precious to be putting things off for the future".
While no official plans for a Girls Aloud reunion have been announced yet, insiders told our publication that they believe Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts will get together to celebrate their achievements, and to honour their late bandmate.
‘The anniversary will obviously be very different to what was originally planned,’ they said. ‘But when the time is right the girls will do something to honour Sarah and all their achievements together.’
