Adele announces comeback

Adele has delighted her fans by confirming she will be hosting Saturday Night Live next week. Taking to her Instagram page on Sunday, the 32-year-old singer shared a picture of colourful notes revealing who will be the musical guest.

This SNL appearance will be Adele's first major outing in four years following her 2016 tour.

The British star is also yet to release any new music since the release of her 25 album in 2015.

Announcing the news, she wrote: "Bloooooody hellllll I'm so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified! My first ever hosting gig.

"I've always wanted to do it as a standalone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right.

But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it's 2020 right?"

Matt announced on social media, that he would be performing at the London Palladium on the 23rd of April. Ticket sales have been so low the singer had to reduce ticket prices in the attempt to fill the 2000 space capacity theater, with online giant Ticketmaster emailing fans and providing notifications about new seat allocation nearer to the stage. This practice is normally done when a venue struggles to sell tickets. With Matt so desperate to try and fill the Palladium, he begged fans to buy up to 6 tickets each and gift them to family members and strangers. Editor Katie Watkin's 8/5/22 U2's frontman Bono, and bandmate the Edge have performed a 40-minute concert in a subway station in Kyiv and praised Ukrainians fighting for their freedom from Russia. Bono said “Your president leads the world in the cause of freedom right now … the people of Ukraine are not just fighting for your own freedom, you’re fighting for all of us. Russia have now pushed on towards Kyiv after invading Ukraine on 24 February before withdrawing its forces from near the capital at the end of March to concentrate its forces in the east of the country. Russia is continuing to carry out missile strikes across Ukraine, some life has returned to Kyiv even though air raid sirens sound regularly.
