Kate Bush: Running Up That Hill reaches number one in UK  Editor Katie Watkin's  19 /6/22 Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush has grapped the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart 37 years after its release. Originally released in 1985, the song has enjoyed a new lease of life after featuring in the Netflix sci-fi show Stranger Things.   After reaching number two last week, it has now replaced Harry Styles' As It Was in the top slot.  Bush said she was "overwhelmed by the scale of affection" for her song.   "It's all happening really fast, as if it's being driven along by a kind of elemental force," the star said in a statement. "I have to admit I feel really moved by it all."  63-year-old Bush has become the oldest female artist to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart.  Robbie Williams Backlash Over Ticket Prices For Announced UK tour Editor Katie Watkins 17/6/22 Former Take that singer Robbie Williams has left fans  fuming at the prices of  up coming Robbie Williams’ XXV tour., or which pre-sale tickets went live earlier today.    It meant some fans had to let their tickets go after sitting in the Ticketmaster queue for more than half an hour, because they simply could not afford them.   Fans took social media with their fustration and said with the cost of living crisis rife and inflation at the highest in 40 years at nine per cent, many of us fans are struggling to even afford their weekly shop, nevermind a £100 plus gig.  It may be a treat, but the general feeling is the tour tickets are extortionate.  Exact prices for Birmingham’s Resorts World gig are unknown, although they range from £64.50 and go all the way up to £165.90.  The singer, 48, kicks off his XXV UK tour in London on October 9 and it...

 What Happened To S Club 7 – From Reunion,Bankruptcy  To Getting Bottled On Stage. Editor Katie Watkin's 7-6-22 S Club 7 were a pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett.  The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, Miami 7. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single "Never Had a Dream Come True".  They recorded four studio albums, released 11 singles and went on to sell 10 million albums worldwide. The band are set to reunite for series of  events including  It's The Ninetees Baby 2022 at Manchester AO Arena on 29th October 22. So where are the members and what have they been up too....

Alec John Such death: Founding member of Bon Jovi dies aged 70 Editor Katie Watkin's 6-6-22 Founding member of Bon Jovi,  Alec John Such, has died at the age of 70.  The rock band announced the death on Sunday (5 June).  “He was an original,” Bon Jovi wrote in a post on social media.  “As a founding member of Bon Jovi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band.  “To be honest, we found our way to each other thru [sic] him,” the statement added.  “Alec was always wild and full of life. Today those special moments will bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.”  Such was a bassist for the rock band from 1983 to 1994.  Details of how he died haven’t been revealed. Bon Jovi credited Such for bringing the band together, revealing that he was a friend of drummer Tico Torres and brought him and songwriter Richie Sambora to see the band perform back in the day.   Such left Bon Jovi in 1994 when he was replaced by bassist Hugh McDonald....

Editor Katie Watkin's 5-6-22 Harry Styles’ Harry’s House holds second week at the top the Billboard 200 albums chart following its debut at No. 1 a week ago.  The set earned 160,500 equivalent album units (down 69%) in the U.S. in the week ending June 2, according to Luminate. It launched with 521,500 unit. Harry’s House is the first album to spend its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1 since Adele’s 30 spent its first six weeks atop the list (charts dated Dec. 4, 2021-Jan. 8, 2022). Harry Styles has been dominating charts worldwide including the ARIA Albums and Singles Charts.
